Recently I did a shoot for Sobey’s celebrating their 110 anniversary. Sobey Foundation’s partnership with the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, meant all the stories were about coming to Canada.
I helped tell the story of two young men from the Philippines who were gaining experience working at a local Safeway.
Safeway in Winnipeg needs workers and wants to give back to the community. Two immigrant teenaged boys want jobs and to learn new skills. Enter NEEDS, the Newcomer Employment and Education Development Services program and its partnership with Safeway.
