From The NSI website
NSI New Voices is a culturally-sensitive training course that exposes young Aboriginal people aged 18-35 to a variety of creative and challenging employment opportunities in the film and television industryI love photographing the different participants of this program. I’ve done it for a few years now and I always end up having a lot of fun. When I first show up, everyone is on edge about getting their photos taken. For some it’s right up there with a trip to the dentist in enjoyment. I just see this as one of the biggest and best challenges in my job and it’s why something like shooting against a white backdrop will never get old. Each of them come in one at a time and as they return to the group laughing about their experience, people start to relax and have fun with it. Mission accomplished.
