Congratulations to The Honourable Murray Sinclair LLB MSC IPC who received two honours this week.
Murray Sinclair has blazed another trail by becoming the first Anishinaabe person inducted in the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board’s Citizens Hall of Fame.A bronze bust of the former Senator was unveiled Wednesday and will join the row of prominent Manitobans near the Diversity Gardens in Assiniboine Park Friday.

And the other honour I was privileged to witness. Concordia University award him the Loyola Medal, Concordia’s highest non-academic honour recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to Canada. I facilitated the live stream event that was held here in Winnipeg at the WAG and at Concordia university.
These image of Murray were images I took a little while ago. While capturing candids of him mentoring young lawyers, I knew once I capture this frame I had a glimpse of what makes him so special, his warmth, his wisdom and his openness to connect to other especially the youth.
It’s always great to listen to him speak, he’s got a great sense of humour too.
