Liam’s screen time, a set on Flickr.

I wanted to practise using my Fuji X100s in low light. I found that when using the autofocus the focus assist lamp was blindingly annoying, and besides it took forever to get things sharp. I switched to manual focus and used the focus peaking. It takes some time to get used, but it’s very effective way to get the shots sharp. The files were tweaked using VSCO films presets in Lightroom. Liam was using up his screen time playing Minecraft, of course. If you don’t it, its THE game for the 8-18 set. Many wonder why it’s so popular. It’s pretty fun and open ended.
