Recently I photographed Chef Luc Jean, chef for Mon Ami Louis and Wow! Catering for profile in the latest Cellar Door.
We tend to like to shoot these profiles “conversational style” , where I get the editor Lisa talking with the subject and we grab candids as they talk. The subject enjoys it because its less daunting than smiling right at the camera. I enjoy it because you can really start to see the passion that chefs like Luc Jean bring to their craft.
