These are a series of portraits I did of writer and columnist Toban Dyck. He was photographed on the family farm in a couple sheds. The device he’s working on is an oil burning heater his dad invented to heat the farm.

Of course we had to pose with a few tractors and the dogs! We had a lot of fun and shared a few laughs. Even in the winter, a visit to the farm is just so great!

The images were used to illustrate a column Toban wrote about life on the farm.
